We're Back!

Well, the test went well in San antonio last friday. Next Friday (June2nd) we will be looking forward to seeing everyone thats around. I know a lot of people are probably going out of town for the 4th. If you are here on Friday please come by. If you want to bring something to throw on the grill or bring chips or whatever. If you just want to stop by and visit don't worry about bringing anything. I'll be outside all afternoon, so come on by any time. Remember the pool (it feels good).

Going to San Antonio this Friday!!

I have to go to San Antonio to take an exam for my masters course. Its at 8:00am Saturday, so I better go down early. If any one would like to host this week I'll try to spread the word. (or for that matter the patio and pool are still available). Make yourselves at home!

The first Party on The Patio was a success. If you weren't able to make it, hopefully we'll see you next time. The Margaretta-ville margeritta maker was a hit. Thanks to Jr. and Denise for the great hors' dourves! We may need more grill space next time. It's just nice to fellowship and get out of the house and away from the TV. See ya on the 18th!

I'm fixing to go out and spray the lemon mosquito repellant. Hope it works. Looking forward to seeing everyone who can come by. You might want to bring a lawn chair. If you are a picker of the guitar bring it. Unfortunately I have no music abilities, but somebody might want to do some "pickin and grinnin". By the way this isn't like a garage sale: Early Birds are welcome.

Man the mosquitos are the size of baby birds. Coach Parnell told me about using a lemon concoction sprayed out of a hose end sprayer to help keep the mosquitos away. Haven't tried it yet. Any one have any other home remedies for discouraging mosquitos, besides the usual chemicals?

Lets get Together!

This is for friends to get together through the summer! Lori and I would like to provide a place to get together for everyone this summer. It's a standing date. Everyones summers are busy, but if your in town you can always come buy on these Friday afternoons and stay for a few minutes or stay until Chris goes to bed. It's bring your own snacks, beverages,etc. You can bring stuff to grill or whatever. If there is stuff (drinks or snacks, etc.) left over we can keep it till next Friday or you can haul it home. Bring the kids or grandkids or yourself to swim if you want. If you have friends you'd like to invite, the more the merrier. Once I have everyones address I will send you emails if there are changes.(also I will try to post updates here) Lori and I will be out of town some, just like everyone, so I will let everyone know when that will be. We don't know yet. If someone would like to host at any time that would be great also. Feel free to join this blog and leave messages to each other here.

We could use some washer pitching stuff if anyone has some!
